Brown Betty Chow Mein
When you’re looking to make Guyanese-style chow mein, Brown Betty has got you covered. Brown Betty Chow Mein is egg free, cholesterol free, msg free, and made from quality Canadian flour.
Suggested Cooking Directions: Bring 4 liters of water to boil, add one pack of noodles. Add 1 teaspoon of salt if desired. Boil in uncovered pot for 5-8 minutes or until desired tenderness is reached. Stir occasionally. Avoid overcooking. Drain under cold water. Mix with 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine if desired. (Keeps noodles from sticking) Add drained noodles to your frying pan with your favourite stir fried meat or vegetables (prepared before). Fry for 2 minutes. For added taste and color, add one tablespoon of Brown Betty Cassareep to your meat or vegetable when cooking.
