Ingredients
- 1 oz dark Jamaican rum
- 1 oz light rum
- 1 oz passion fruit puree
- 1 oz fresh orange juice
- ½ oz fresh lime juice
- ½ oz demerara syrup (made with British Class demerara style brown sugar)
- ½ oz grenadine
- Ice cubes (for shaking)
- Crushed ice (for serving)
- Orange slice
- Maraschino cherry
Directions
1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Add the dark rum, light rum, passion fruit puree, orange juice, lime juice, demerara syrup, and grenadine.
2. Shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds until well chilled.
3. Fill a hurricane glass with fresh crushed ice. Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass.
4. Garnish with an orange slice and maraschino cherry. Serve immediately.
